Background

Vern's a skilled bushie who's been in Alaska since he was 18. He's got a mixed bag of experience; he's been a guide in Alaska for small and big game, as well as upland bird hunting. He's also earned a crust training his own dog (a French Brittany) for his guiding business. Plus, Vern's written 'Fur Rendezvous Remembered.'
